After months of reflection, a lot of soul searching and tons of research, due diligence and discussion with artists and presenting organizations in both Vermont and nationally, Kingdom County Productions has decided that we need to postpone the Listen Up tour to the fall of 2021. This will mean no rehearsal period this August.
Associate Producer Mitch Barron and Producer Bess O’Brien feel strongly that this decision is wise and in the best interest of the health of our teen cast and crew.
This decision marks a pivot in our plans, a new beginning, an opportunity to use this next year to continue to be innovative, creative and to embrace the changes that surrounds us. We are looking forward to keeping our creative juices flowing, our teen writers, musicians, and actors engaged, moving deeper into the script and music writing, generating design concepts and ideas, reaching out to schools and youth organizations and building momentum as we move forward.
We look forward to touring this groundbreaking musical next year!
